Obesity and your heart

body-fatThe heart is a very important and a precious organ which indeed needs special attention and proper care throughout your life in order to keep away heart diseases. There are many factors that lead to heart diseases. Commonly obesity is one of the main reason which leads to heart diseases. You get obese because of sedentary lifestyle and improper eating habits. These habits are within your power to control by decreasing the risk of becoming obese which reduces the risk of heart diseases.

Obesity is the deposition of excessive fat by improper eating habits. Most obese peoples are likely to be in the risk of having heart diseases specially heart attacks, because of the high deposition of fat in your body this leads to the formation of a clot in the blood vessel which results in a complete blockage of blood flow to the heart, stopping its normal functioning which is known as heart attack. Obesity among people is mainly categorized in to two types that is the apple shaped obesity and the pear shaped obesity. It is also proven that people who have high fat deposits on their abdomen (apple shaped obesity) have higher risk of developing heart disease than those who have more fats deposited on their hips or thighs (pear shaped obesity).

So to reduce the risk of heart diseases you must control yourself from becoming obese by following a good proper eating habit, by eliminating refined carbs and taking lots of water and exercising. The correct weight of a person is related to the body mass index (BMI) alternatively, to determine your percentage of body fat, obtain some plastic body fat calipers and do a simple skin-fold test. Body fat calipers are not expensive and they are readily available to buy. Always remember to eat right to feel bright as this should be your motto to lead a healthy happy life.

Oh, that is sooo true Nora! :)
I had to hit the bottom (95kg) to realize I have to start taking care of myself… right now I’m 75kg, but still lots of work to be 65kg like before my baby was born and I started working from home… I eat more healthy now, smaller portions and visit gym regularly. No diets, just moderation and exercise.
