Flavoring for omelettes

Just to get started the word omelette is a french word that came to use during the mid 16th century. An omelette is a folded, fluffy creation, simply made by whisking eggs and cooking them quickly in a traditional non stick frying pan. This is one of my favorites because its easy to make and it also makes a great accomplice with the main course. Adding flavors to omelette makes it more tasty and delicious. You should add flavors to the egg mixture before cooking or fill it to the center of the omelette and fold over to enclose. The following are some delicious combination’s that can be incorporated while preparing your omomeletteelette.

• Grated cheese and finely diced tomatoes
• Sliced or diced peppers and shallots sautéed in butter with sliced mushrooms
• Chunks of cooked sausage and caramelized onion slices
• Strips of smoked ham and blanched asparagus tips.
• Chopped onions and chillies with a pinch of ground pepper.
• Smoked salmon shavings and a little fresh dill
• Snipped bacon sautéed in walnut oil until crisp with fresh spinach leaves
• Drumstick leaves with chopped onions and chilli
• Grated carrots with some chopped onions and garlic
