Smoked Salmon Omelette
Preparing a stuffed omelette with smoked salmon is a very speedy way to serve a quick and tasty breakfast. Smoked salmon omelettes are one of my favorites to make for breakfast simply because its quick and so easy to make.Adding a generous portion of salmon to this simple classic dish gives it a luxurious finish. You can make omelettes with endless variations with different ingredients to flavor the omelettes . Instead of the salmon and chives you can also use chopped ham and parsley or grated cheddar cheese.
Ingredients
- 4 eggs
- 1tbsp chopped fresh chives
- 50g smoked salmon chopped
- pat of butter
- some salt and ground black pepper for taste
Method
1 Beat the eggs untill just combined then stir in the chives and season with salt and pepper.
2 Heat the butter in a medium sized frying pan until foamy.Pour in the eggs and cook over medium heat for 3 to 4 minutes.
3 At this stage you can either leave the top of the omelette slightly soft or finish it off under the grill, depending on how you like your omelette. Now top the omelette with the smoked salmon fold it and cut in half and serve.
