Chocolate brownies with nuts, is made from a usual dense chocolate brownie mixture with the addition of some nuts, which is cut into tiny squares for little mouthfuls of absolute heavens. Nuts embedded in Chocolate brownies are a simple sweet treat that you can make during this holiday season. Also some squares of these heavenly delicious chocolate brownies with nuts would be perfect to have with a cup of coffee during this Christmas. Wish all my friends a very happy new year and Merry Christmas!

1 Preheat the oven to 160°C. Line the base and sides of a backing tin with backing parchment.
2 Melt the chocolate and butter together in the microwave or in a heatproof bowl set over a pan of gently simmering water.
3 When the mixture is melted, remove from the heat, stir the mixture well and add brown sugar.
4 Add the eggs, a little at a time and beat well. Gently stir in the flour and stir until a smooth paste is formed.
5 When the brownie mixture is mixed well, add the chopped nuts to the mixture. After spread the mixture over the tin and bake for 30 – 35 minutes, or until just set in the center. Leave to cool in the tin and cut in to squares. Now chocolate brownies with nuts is ready to serve.

Chocolate and nuts are a classic combination in brownies. Dense moist brownies with a pot of hot coffee would be just wonderful for this rainy holiday afternoon.
Nora, wish you a Merry X’mas and Happy New Year!

Some brownie purists hate nuts in their brownies, but honestly…the more nuts, the better.
