1 Heat some butter in a large pan and add the lamb fry for about 5 to 6 minutes, stir ocassionally untill browned.
2 Stir in the curry paste and cook for 1-2 minutes then season and set aside.
3 Melt the remaining butter in a pan and cut the pastry sheets in half lenghtwise. Brush one strip with butter and place another sheet on top and brush with more butter.
4 Place a spoon full of lamb in the corner of the pastry strip and fold over to form a traingular shape. Repeat this step for all the cut out strips.
5 Brush with butter and place in a baking sheet and bake for 15 – 20 minutes till it appears golden and serve.

I just adore samosas but have never made them at home. It seems a lot less hard than I thought it was, so thanks for the inspiration!

Lamb is my husband’s favorite meat! Your marinated, grilled leg of lamb recipe is wonderful but these samosas also sound so delicious, perfect for a snack, appetizer or light meal with a salad. I’d love to try it!

phyllo is something i can munch on even if a filling isn’t involved, but packing it with savory meat is an improvement. i love samosas, and yours are sooo appealing!
